I wish one day you would just say I'm perfect Or tell me I make all your dreams come true Your the best thing that has ever happened to me I will always be missing you
Your deployments are always hard I hope you never stay longer I'll wait for your every letter Cause' the distance between us will only make us stronger
Half my heart will always go where you go As long as you always take it I know your very smart And will never try to break it
I hope you know how much you mean to me I will always be the one to try My life with you will always have one rule And that is to be Semper Fi.
I miss you and come home to me soon!

Beautiful and he's fortunate to have you rooting for him. Many solders don't have that.
Great writing. I pray you both have your dreams come true together.
Blessings,
emy

Im also a marine and if I was deployed at the moment and someone had wrote this poem to me it would make my month, its knowing loved ones are thinking of you that makes doing a difficult job bearable. |
