dating a stranger

Topic: goodbyepoetry

Im not that girl u see everyday. Im not perfect, im messed up. I see you
pretending and its tearing us apart. Im not goin with you cuz this is the end of
u and me. Im not gonna be what you want, im gonma be me cuz thats all i could
be.

I kiss you goodbye with a tear on my cheek. You ***** up and im not gonna
let you bring me down. My faith flew out the window with my promise to stay
sober. Everything basically went down the drain, seemingly sleeping in the tub
full of blood you spilled. Many things fall apart when skeletons come out the
closet.

You dont know this girl anymore, holding on to wat we had is impossible.
I walk off with a smile teasing my lips cuz that tear was as fake as i am.Thinking and waiting for a chance to
laugh it off. Close the doors to the hope of us comin back together, i kno you
kno its not gonna happen but you hope to see me crawling back on bruised knees.
I'm my own person, too bad you were to into yourself to see it.

Grab my hand
and tell me ur sry but its to late to aplogize when i still see the shine in ur
eyes. Peacefully i exited your life and kept my mouth shut about you and forgot
u ever existed.
