it's not easy to forget you,
and i dont know why,
when i hated you in the first place
i told myself all the time,
and i'd run,
laughing like hell,
as you followed me,
screaming you've fell,
and now that youre gone,
i miss those days,
your annoying calls,
and us breaking down in the rain,
and those cigerattes,
we hid up our sleeves,
you had a way,
of getting us to do anything.
and now i tell myself,
that you remember,
all our days,
before our last september.
i just wish i would've stopped you,
before everything went wrong,
somehow convince you,
to just stay at home,
but i was to busy,
always making you jealous,
leading you on,
because i was selfish.
so i blame myself,
for your death,
you haunt me now:
i will never forget.

I suppose we all have some regrets over time. We can all say 'what if' but although you won't forget this man, you can't blame yourself for his death. Whatever happened, happened; you didn't kill him.
