You're holding onto my heart,
Squeezing tighter, tighter,
I never wanted this to start,
I'm meant to be a 'fighter'.
It's like...
No one can understand,
I've tried and tried to explain,
Can't you let go? Let go of my hand,
Save me from this pain.
It's like...
I'm lost in my own dreams,
Ones that will never come true,
Now, nothing's ever what it seems,
I'll never be with you.
It's like...
I almost had you before,
You were everything to me,
When it was over, my heart tore,
How come you couldn't see?
It's like...
I've wasted so much time,
Like you'd ever read this,
I hope you know how bright you shine,
I hope you know you're missed.

| I think many can relate to the pain in this write,and hopefully there is comfort in having written it as much as it will bring comfort to those who read it well written |
