You've gone to work all these years, and everyday was like the rest You'd walk past a bank, where a girl's been sat behind a desk You hadn't noticed her before Except when walking past her door She didn't mean anything to you Then one day as if by chance She gave you a smiling glance Then you weren't sure what to do
She's probably got a house, a man and some kids of her own Then again she might be desparate and living all alone You had your chance with her to meet When you saw her in the street You just watched as she walked by Whenever her eyes look at yours She smiles that smile that you adore Why don't you just say 'Hi?'
So the next time that you pass Just pop in to say 'Hello' Ask her for a drink Because the worst she can say is 'No' And if it works then great If it doesn't then at least you know
She was just the girl behind the glass From the bank you'd always walk past Just when you thought that nobody cared You would look up and she'd be there She's the one, I swear The girl behind the glass

Just give her this write or drop it where you know she'll find it.
Or like the other comment said just ask her out.
Good writing and good luck.
smile, blessings,
emy
You never know till u ask and if you don't ask you'll regret it. |

The worst she could do is say no. My problem is I have a difficult time with rejection.
I really enjoyed this poem and can sooooooooooo relate.
Thank you,
Tim |
