the sweetest lie i ever heard, was contained in 3 little words, simply stated "i love you" so i lied back "love you too". but paul saw through my lie, and just let out a small *sigh*, followed by a "but i really do" this wasnt just and i love you, this one might actually be true. i thought he knew i didnt love anymore, that i would rather just be a whore. whores dont have to deel with emotion, the horrible lonly feelings of depression. i know in the end i would just get hurt, trampled and kicked around like the dirt. so for now i can only lie, "i love you paul, sigh"

There's something pure in this. Artists write for many different reasons, but usually it's to either celebrate something or to expose something that needs to be changed in the world. Clearly this fits in with the latter, but the way you go about talking about the bull***** side of love. This is awesome. You turn love into something much more real, though it might be a little undesired. One of these days though, you'll see love as something other than an addiction or a habit or a nice reply to a follish comment that your friend paul made once. And when you find that love, you'll know it, and then you'll be writing to celebrater that love instead of exposing the hypocracy behind the love. Keep it up. Butterat Zool. |
