I Will Never Forget

Topic: dedicatedpoems

I'm staring at your beloved grave.

Remembering what you used to say,

Remembering to stay optimistic during the day.

I still remembering staring at your beautiful eyes,

Now I'm placing white flowers where your dead body lies.

It' hard to define how I feel inside,

I am certainly not happy, but I cannot cry.

I just keep thinking how time flies by.

I still remember your lovely smile,

the things you would share when I was just a child.

It's ironic how things end up,

somehow things can be ruined or reinvented,

how things work out even If not intended.

My mom has stayed strong after your death,

but sometimes she just has to take a breath.

She still can't believe that her sister is gone,

and every time she hears your song..

she holds back the tears,

because she knows you still love her very sincere.

I'm staring at your beloved grace,

and all I can say...

Is that I know you're in a better place.
