You cannot sleep
Because the memory's still there
Even though you've found someone else who cares
You can't show her what you're feeling
But it's harder everyday
All the hurt you feel just will not go away
You cannot think
But you know that you are strong
Your life is different now that you've moved on
You just can't stop yourself from dreaming
About the life you could have had
And you cannot stop feeling so sad
The years have passed
But everyday you see her face
In your heart you still have an empty space
Even now you're loved by someone
Your mind will not accept
But forever you have a secret you have kept
She left you
When you thought it would last
Now she's in your past
It all seems to have happened so fast
She left you
Standing in the rain
Calling out her name
You'll never feel the same
Now she's left you
