for i remember when i was young staying in my room cause you were drunk i would just neel my head and pray hoping things would be okay i would hug my bear so tight saying things will be alright
i remember when you would tuck me in at night youd say everything will be alright then youd sing that lalaby(x3)
when i couldnt sleep at night id remember all the fights people running out the house you would scream and you would shout i would close my eyes and hope life would past me by then when the popo came they took me and josh away still hoping things would be okay
then growing up without a dad it was hard and it was sad where is dad to come on by wipe my tears and hold me tight tell me everything is alright
now me and my mom were still close still talking about are folks life was hard and know we know how to love and how to get burned
