Far Away

Contributed by The_unknown on Wednesday, 29th September 2010 @ 08:21:51 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

The early morning whispers promises of a better day
A day when the Earth will clash with itself
and crumble the miles away
Just to bring you here to me

There's something quite divine
of the thought of waking up to your sweet face
laying next to mine

But when the glorious owl sits awake
waiting for it's prey
I lay awake with thoughts of you
Then vitious termoil lifts it's skinny little finger and plays tricks on my mind
breaking the bliss in my world
I question and question, unable to sleep
fearing no reasurance that what we have is true
for you
Not to query myself, for I know how deep our love runs in my soul

One word from you, I can throw those thoughts away
Life seems okay once again
But the longing to have you with me
makes my heart weigh 1,000 tons
I can't find a way to live alone
But I stroll on, wandering
Trying to find the path to you
