Its time to go now,
The time is getting near
I see my family gathered around
I sense their growing fear.
Its time to go now,
The light is fading fast,
I hear the voices coming close,
Of people that have passed.
Its time to go now,
My love I leave with you,
The memories that we have shared,
Will always help you through.
Its time to go now,
My spirit needs to fly,
My heart has given one last beat,
I love you all - Goodbye.

Despite the sorrowful theme of this poem I felt so at peace reading it.
I can imagine being the one lying there, accepting the end without fear........beautifully put.
