We met at the train station
And instantly we knew
Because there was no hesitation
Back then we danced to our favourite song
We didn't know what we had
'til the day it was gone
Our love went undiminished
But as each day went by
Slowly we were finished
I guess time is what drifted us apart
But we'll always be together
In my heart
All the time that we spent
Laughing for what seemed forever
All the vows that we made
About leaving each other, never
We can only look back
At how it all went wrong
We didn't know what we had
'til the day it was gone
