And yet it would seem
As the curve of life goes on,
That its not as smooth as
It would first appear to be.
The changes of the world
The love and losses incurred,
At first glance could be pure mishap
Or is it left to the hands of Gods
To decide our path?
Are we simply set at the beginning
And then moved along to satisfy their whim?
Or does man himself
Hold his dice?
Are the trials and tribulations
Part of pre-destined life or
Simply there to amuse
The Powers that Be?
Could the creation of life
When there is thought to be no chance,
Be a coincidence deemed unfortunate
Or truly a gift?
Can we change from
Previous experience?
Could love wipe clean the woes of life
To create something new and whole?
Do I accept my fate or do I
Challenge the hands of the Gods?
I search for my answer amongst
The stars
But as ever I only hear
The Silence of the Heavens.

A very good write and something I can relate to for sure. I like this stanza,
Do I accept my fate or do I
Challenge the hands of the Gods?
I think I’ve reach a point where I’m so feed up with all of it
and I’m definitely moving away from His will and challenging
God however the truth is nothing challenges Him and we only
hurt are selves in the end. I still say F*@k it I’m sick of being
who He wants me to be only so I can suffer through the pains
of life. Great write live for what makes you happy you only
have one life to live and what’s an eternity of perfection if you
didn’t enjoy the true and only life you had to live the one that
makes you, YOU.
Thanks for the write it was insightful and reminds me that others struggle with these thoughts

You've certainly given us all something to think about too.
If we knew the anwers sometimes, it would certainly make things easier.......but perhaps also take away the challenge.
Life truly is a mystery and perhaps everyone deep down likes a good mystery.
