I'm In Love With The Other

Contributed by Anbarean on Monday, 18th October 2010 @ 10:45:46 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

He crosses the threshold of my life without a knock
He enter in my life without a word without a sigh
I dwell I linger to hear your voice to hear you speak
I wait for those three words and just one meaning
But there was a complete silence for an era for years
No symbol of love no emblem of devotion
Then one day I open the door for a complete stranger
He was there with his open heart and open arms
He whisper in my ear Im your fate and Im your destiny
I once look back, he implore to step forward
He said hell show me the heights and colors of love
He ask my hand in his, I bestow my trembling hand in his
But I still look back at the empty road with no mirage left too
I walked forward and still moving on with the flow of instance
Today Im wedged in a masquerade where my life is on two paths
Where my body is with one but my soul is with the other
There is one in front of my vision but I visualize the other
Im living my life with one but my heart beats for the other
I like the one whom I am with but Im in love with the other

A beautifully written poem that surrounds you in spirit as you read each line. Such a difficult position to be in. The thought knowing that someone is going to get hurt regardless no matter how delicate the
approach. The last two lines are in perfect place and well done again.
