I had thought Id never make it
I was sure Id hit rock bottom.
I had said that it was pointless.
I had felt my time was done.
I believed that I was all alone.
I had thought that no one cared.
I gave up all faith and all hope,
In the man they said was up there.
But then a hand appeared
Reaching out for me.
Out of the darkness
Wanting me to be.
She made my sadness happy and
She made my darkness bright.
And she couldnt have picked a better time
To walk in to my life.
*~*Yes, an angel came,
In the form of a friend.
And nothings been the same
Since my little godsend*~*
