silent through the night
it will go

from the alley ends
soon red will flow

desperate cries they fall
into its black

if you cross its path
you'll never go back

the morning light
calls it to rest

wandering back home
form its wicked quest

untethered on your bed
as you wake

keep it feed and warm
or your soul it'll take
