imperfect.

I'm not a perfect girl.
My hair does not always stay in place
& i spill things a lot.
I'm pretty clumsy
& sometimes i have a broken heart.
My friends and i sometimes fight
& maybe some days nothing goes right.
But when i think about it
& take a step back i remember how amazing life truly is,
and that maybe, just maybe, i like being imperfect..

LOVE IT! made me smile :)

The rhyme in the lines
My friends and i sometimes fight
& maybe some days nothing goes right
make me want more rhyme :) But love the expression and your appreciation for imperfection! You can argue that it doesn't all rhyme because like you, and like everyone else, it is imperfect.

If we were to never make mistakes...
If things would always go right...
If life were to be that monotonous...
GOD!
Thank You!!!
You have made me realize how much i do love being imperfect!!!
:D

It's admirable this write,
for imperfection is like a wound
with plenty of salt in it
but this write was charming,wity
and a complete delight
nicely scribed

hi potentialpoet96:

what can I say
imperfection is here to stay
some will acknowledge it
some will say, nay

Imperfection is what we all need. Once we become perfect, we can become conceited, arrogant and just plain ugly human beings.

Beautiful expression and realization, that you like what you are--even though you're not perfect.

Welcome to the club.

This reminded me that not being flawless builds strong character and humility, and that we must learn to accept what we have/don't have and who we are/aren't, and to ultimately be happy with ourselves. Great write, both precise and concise with a valuable lesson.

take care
