I still hear those footsteps
Coming down those stairs
So clearly I see all of this
The room lit up so very brightly
As she walked into the room
So speechless I was
No words could describe
The feelings of my heart
I was so very shy
I will not lie about this
My eyes locked with hers
I was so very blinded
By what I saw In her
I would not mistake this
For I knew I was looking at an angel
I saw it then as I see it now
So very clearly not blinded at all
I knew this then as I know it now
What I saw that day and still this day today
Is and will always be love at first sight
