you walk by in the hall,
and slap my hand because we're friends.
as you walk away,
those friendly feelings all end.
i look back at you,
wishing and praying.
instead of "hey,"
its "i love you" youd be saying.
if you turned away,
i dont know what id do.
because im in love with you,
through and through.
at home i cry,
because you couldnt ever love me.
but i cant help but think,
of how it would be.
to be in your arms,
and stay there forever.
from your side and heart,
id leave never.
so be my knight in shining armor,
your princess ill be.
take me away from reality,
to this euphoric reverie..

I especially love this poem. You capture the feeling all of us feel in our lives--unfufilled love. I can visualize the whole dreamy scene occuring in a school hallway. I hope your dream soon becomes reality. Great poem!
