Tear Drops On My Pillow
I cant stop the tears from falling
I wish you were just a dream
As it hurts me more to wake up and find youre no longer there.
I made you my everything
My every thought
My every breath
Now you gone I have nothing
No reason to go on.
I wish youd come back and take these tears away
Ill always be in love with you
With fragments of my broken heart.
What I needed most was to love
And be loved
Something you couldnt give me
Or could show me.
Maybe one day you will realise what you lost
Maybe Ill have moved on
But your footprints remain printed on my heart
And my pillow soaked with tears of sorrow
I cant stop the tears from falling.
