closer. . .

your portrait exalted the hallway
breathed life into the landing's recessed end
it is, for me, your lips that mesmerize
'nigh to plump or preciously thin
with eyes holding infinite wonder
& pleasure beyond compare
in the tiny creases, a laugh or two hidden, lie treasured there. . .
how I long to touch you, hold you. . .
to feel your warmth, so close
embrace & listen as you exhaled
. . . to shudder as you spoke
but with all dimension, lacking
. . . to never be again
I miss you & forever love you
my dearest, sweetest friend. . .

Passion....didn't seem very ambiguous to me. I felt the longing. As ever consistent, your words always inspire.
Thank you,
Tim

I found your words to be soothing. Switching between the present and what comes after. This was great. Well done.

sad, but beautifully so. I feel so much in this.
