I Love You

Contributed by trackiller2006 on Tuesday, 9th November 2010 @ 03:57:49 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

From the moment that I wake up beside you, my life seems like it could finally be alright.
Gone are the sleepless nights and the feelings of loneliness.
When I met you I knew that I had found the one true love of my life.
Even when you leave for the day I know that you will come back to be in my arms.
As I enfold you and smell the sweet smell of your hair, Im taken back to the wonderful beginning of my salvation.
From the walk in the park, sitting by the river, to that first hesitant, but oh so magical, first kiss.
That kiss showed me that no matter what, you would always be there to love and support me.
Then came the day that we promised ourselves to each other for the rest of time, one of the most exciting and blissful days of my life.
As I watched you walk up the aisle, I knew that this was the moment that I had always wanted, craved to have.
As I held your hands and professed my love to you until the end of time, emotions of the most supreme happiness filled my entire being.
Now as we wait to grow old together and one day leave this world, I want you to know that no matter what happens in our life, we will be together.
And even if I say it one thousand times a day, I want you to always know
I Love You.

I just really loved the whole poem so much it just lifted all the trouble of my shoulders. This poem should be heard in collages and all around the world it was that good. my favorite couple of lines you wrote was when you said, when we grow old together and one day leave this world, i want you to know, after that the whole end of the poem.

this is a really sweet tribute to your love--which sounds long-lasting and completely genuine to me. i know the feeling of waking up with someone and knowing you want to wake up with them every morning. you really captured the feelings of love here.
