To tell you I love you
is easy to say
And so I'll convey it
in my own way
Not through repetitious words
but, in the way that I grow
Not through obsessive control
But, in letting that go
You live in my heart
You exist in my mind
Your body is elsewhere
Yet, there's still time
You are the One I love
and of that I'm sure
You're a gift from above
For my love there's no cure.
And so we embark
on this mid-journey's dream
An unexpected detour
If you know what I mean
And I still love you
You're still in my dreams
I still know your spirit
And one day you'll see
We have each other
Outside of time
We're learning to love
In that there's no crime
Remember me when
You're feeling alone
Remember I love you
and my heart you own
