LINE OF FAITH

Contributed by sidneyconrad23 on Saturday, 13th November 2010 @ 01:01:47 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Ive been a Security Officer at a local shopping center for about 22 years. I have seen a lot of people and observed a lot of incidents since I been there. On one Saturday afternoon, around 1:00 pm, I noticed a young Man in his mid 20s, with his 3 year old son, that was on a leas that was held by his father walking around on the interior of the mall. About five minutes later I seen the same 3 year old boy about to fall in the water fountain By the center court area of the mall. About time when the child was going to fall in the fountain his father gently pull him back keeping him from falling in the water fountain. Around 30 minutes later I observed the same little boy in a flower planter by the food court area getting ready to put a leaf in his mouth that he pulled from one of the plants. His father gently pulled him back on the leas, which cause the leaf to fall form the small Childs hand. All through that day I saw the father constantly pulling his son out of stores, hallways, restrooms and keeping his child from going out of the malls entrance ways. You know thats the way I feel about our Heavenly father Hes always gently pulling us back on the line of faith when we get to far away from him. I also believe that he gave us tools to make that line of faith stronger so it wont break. Like faith believing in his son the Lord Jesus Christ, reading the bible, hiding his word in our hearts and doing the things and thinking the things he would wont us to do. If we dont make that line of faith stronger the line could break and we could bet separated from the father for entirely. I dont know about you but I want to make that line of faith to God stronger like remembering bible verses like this, Hebrews 13:5-6 I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Thanks for letting me share this store with you I hope you got something out of it, I sure did. Your brother in Christ Willie Sidney Conrad Joyner.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
