THAT PERFECT GIFT
Christmas is just around the corner and its almost knocking at our doors, And I know most of us are dreaming of that perfect gift that we been wishing for.
A gift that is something special that money can not buy, A gift that can feel our hearts with comfort and make joyful tears come from our eyes.
That gift I have been talking about is at no charge and it is free, And that gift is from God when he gave his only begotten son to die for you and me.
Jesus was born in manger and was lied down in the hay, But little as we knew this small baby child would be the Lamb of God one day.
As Jesus grew he done miracles like rising a small girl from the dead who had died, But his main reason was in Jerusalem when the Jews hung him on a cross to be crucified.
As Jesus hung there dying on the cross he was made fun of and was treated really cruel, But just before Jesus died he said father forgive them because they know not what they do.
All of a sudden a storm came up it started raining with the wind blowing really hard, Then one of the Roman solders looked up to Heaven and said this was truly the Son of God.
Then Jesus went to Heaven to prepare a place for you and me, And one day we will see it if we only trust and believe.
Thats not all Jesus went to hell and faced the devil himself, And then Jesus took the keys of life and death.
So when you wake up on Christmas morning, And find no presents under your Christmas tree.
Just fall to your knees and give thanks to God, Because God has given us that perfect gift and he personally picked it out for you and me.
