Many years have come and gone
All scatttered with different friends
Some have been soft and some strong
and some their love they lend
all have left their indentation
on this heart of mine
all have been with out pretention
as the list of friends incline
everyone has had a purpose
as my life they gently touch
each one on such different courses
but I loved them all so much
some taught me how to laugh
some taught me how to cry
some help me through the rough
and to stand up tall and try
to have the strength to fight
the battles as they came along
and make my life feel right
without them would be wrong

What a nice write about the ever growing bond of friendships and the loyalty that is always there even when the bad times can be trying. I really enjoyed reading this. A heartfelt piece. Well done.
