Watch Me As I Make Water Run Red

Contributed by Rykor on Sunday, 28th November 2010 @ 12:01:50 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

One, two, three, presto alakazam!
Watch me as I make water run red
For the girl who made me her one but not only
And the guy who greeted me daily with his fists
Watch me as I make water run red
For the sister who thought I had no feelings
For the brother who liked to hug me by the throat
Watch me as I make water run red
For the mother who made me her only regret
For the father who made me say 'I tripped'
Watch me as I make water run red
With nothing up my invisible sleeve
And a wave of my tiny, sharp wand
One, two three, presto alakazam!
Watch me as I make water run red

A different approach to it but a good read that
brings the pain and sorrow out from the abuse
of a long life. Keep your head up and just know
you are you and that’s all you can ever be and
forget the rest if they cant appreciate who you
are. Thanks for the read, Steve

your pain is very vivid in this poem I can really relate to it, at least we can turn our worst fears and despair into a beautiful poem.
