I Shouted To Her Repeatedly

I hadn't seen her in years- so when I thought I spotted her on a crowded city sidewalk that cold December afternoon, I shouted to her repeatedly: "MAGDALENA! MAGDALENA!"
"Was it you...was it you?" I sobbed, as she quickly disappeared in the large crowd of Christmas shoppers. And then I screamed: "DEAR MERCIFUL GOD! WAS IT YOU?"
