I sit,I wait,
I wonder,
Recall what I said,
A blunder?
Express my heart in words,
I think it sounds absurd.
I drink to blur and slumber,
To keep me from going under,
My thoughts corralled in herds,
Another heartache swerved.
I wake,I pause,
I'm under,
The grip of a deep hunger,
My soul divides to thirds,
Of life,of love,of words.
