Words are spoken, thoughts are said.
Judgments made inside our head.
We soon begin to part ways,
Only to meet again in a few days.
Our values and beliefs we share.
Into each other's eyes we begin to stare.
Locked, a bonded gaze,
Blocked, all else in a mental haze.
Lost from the world, yet still content.
have to admit, it was my intent.
I feel different, not like before,
I have everything I want and so much more.

I think there is something to be admired by ones independence and the choices they make inside that direction. Content without foreign entertainment. I really like this and it's a refreshing read.
