My eyes are as dreamy
As a starry night
It doesn't seem
That they deserve fright
But about 95% of the time
Fright is the only thing she knows of
To witness this is a crime
Like sending someone to the above
Or below
Either way you're dead
And I bet you didn't know
That this is all that has ever been said,

Deeply emotional,
I feel the same way with people i have lost along the way, the closing line is very mournful.
Enjoyed this poem but certainly stirred up many deep emotions. |
