I know Im not supposed to care
I know I didnt have a say
But sometimes I think I should have protected you
From the ones who took you away
Ill never get to meet you
Never get to hold you
Never know if you were a girl or a boy
Never know how you wouldve been
Im not supposed to cry
Because you were never mine
Im not supposed to wonder
What they did with your body
Youll never meet your sister
I think youd get along
Everytime shes here on visit
I keep thinking there couldve been two
Youll never have a graveyard
A place to remember
Were all supposed to forget you
But youll always be in my heart
