Laying here, I can believe The ones I love, away from me Stupid choices I have made Turned my life to wasted days
Cannot think straight and don't know how My life's off track, I finally see now Time now passing, day by day My mind gets up and walks away
As it treks down endless halls Always finding dead-end walls Needing guidance, it retreats I sink lower into my sheets
I doze off and drift away Dreaming to prosper again someday

Wow very good poem, I could really relate strongly to this poetry. Love this theme you create of hopelessness, isolation and melancholia. Good job! |
