I keep on trying,
I call your name,
Will ever be the same again,
It's tearing me apart is this game.
In my head I call it off,
Yet in my heart that's not enough,
'cause there's a battle,
'twixt sense and love,
I don't think I can give you up.
I wish I knew what to do,
Am I getting through to you,
Do I make sense,
Should I relent,
I don't know what to do.
I wish I knew what you want to,
I'm all messed up,
Bemused,confused,
It's tearing me apart,
Since I met you.
I wonder what the future holds,
Will I be left out in the cold,
Or our futures merge,
Like I foretold,
My dreams collapse or unfold.
