I lay down at night,
close my eyes,
in hope of dreaming,
dreaming of you,
The picture in my mind,
it goes from black to blurry,
blurry to crystal clear,
then i see you standing there,
I run to you,
but go no where,
you start to fade away,
suddenly you disappear,
I spin around,
yelling your name,
you don't reappear,
everything starts to fade,
That's when i wake up,
i wonder what went wrong,
i realize you were never there,
it was only a dream.
