I brought you a flower
A sign of love and beauty
Of eternal friendship and caring
It's aroma fills the air like a gentle summer breeze
It's color brightens the darkest days
The days where all I can do is remember
Remember when dreams came true
When love and hope filled each moment
When we shared our thoughts and laughter
I brought you a flower
I leave it with you now
It's beauty will soon fade away
It's scent will dissipate
But my thoughts of you never will
Nor will the love we once shared
It's beauty is engraved deep in my memories
As is yours...forever
