Sorry is only one word, a sign
but it could be more, a sentence.
It could be a lifetime or a life line.
A cop out, a defense.
Sorry can be a one word confession.
A lesson.
A moment in regret
and yet,
perhaps a digression from some repression
that wasn't addressed and has festered.
A reflection of what was there then left,
Left so insidiously, a theft,
over time, stealing time.
Sorry is perhaps more a state.
One of sadness overstated, under rated.
A regret a curse an onanistic debate.
With oneself yet said as if to another.
Some other.
Why bother?
It 's too late. Too late to care.
Perhaps, but not to dare.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Sorry might be a sentence.
Not of words, but of time, of repentance.
Quo Vadimus, do we care?
Where are we going? Quo vadimus?

I'm pleased to have read something that contains a unique insight. The way you broke down an apology was very cool. A write that holds lingering questions about what will be. Fantastic writing.
