I watch him slide into your heart,
Watch him tear our love apart,

His fingers running through your hair,
My hatred makes me stop and stare,

Our love a lie, a bitter sham,
Destroying all my hopes and plans,

I want to grab him, make him pay,
But then Ill lose you anyway,

So I will stop, in frozen time,
Ill start to glow, and then Ill shine,

A shining star, Ill fill the sky,
And you will always wonder why,

You let go of a thing so pure,
You should have let our love endure,

Without you I will still always shine,
But I will never again call you mine.
