Do you train?
Do you bench and run and press and climb?
Are there marathons, triathlons?
What's your best time?

Are you tired?
Do you get weary from working day in and day out?
Don't you want a vacation, a break?
Why not lounge about?

Why do it?
Is there some twisted joy you extract from this mess?
Have you no pity, no compassion?
Is this really best?

Do you know?
If you keep pushing me about, what am I to do with you?
Perhaps a timeout, for one of us at least?
When are you through?
