Im not in love

The world is geared for love
So why do we hate so much?
Is this my opinion because Im not in love?
All I see is murder, war, anger, conflict, destruction and fear
Where is the love its certainly not here?

Am I blind to the good things, because Im not in love?
Can I not see the beauty in the world, because Im trapped in a media world of constant dread?

If I was in love would I be living in a world of tranquillity?
Would it be all wine and roses, sweetness and joy?
Gazing into one anothers eyes, holding hands on walks in golden sands?
Lip locking, body rocking and frolicking?
Or is this love stuff, a load of old chuff?

If youre in love I suppose you see a future with opportunity, if we have a future?
If youre like me youll see a world where you have to struggle and fight to survive
Who has stolen love from us and replaced it with fear?
We need to fight back and reclaim love
Become optimistic not pessimistic
Look for the love that the world is geared for
