Awoken by dreams so dark and so terrible
I arise and cannot help but to tremble.
My nightmares, it seems, have become reality
As reality has become my worst nightmare
The Devil holds me in talons so tight
Tempting, taunting because he knows that I might
The words he whispers makes sense somehow
He knows my world has come crashing, tumbling down
My futile attempts to keep him away
His whispers get louder, in my head do they stay
Only one question haunts me now more than ever
Because light, after all, doesnt last forever
