We all struggle at times in our lives. Yesterday was one for the digestive but he's stronger than that! x
Today you rushed out
You were angry and you were sad
and things thats happened
Theyve made you feel bad
And I dont like you angry
and I dont like you in pain
Because its me it happens to me
again and again
not you, nobody can hurt you
Your too good, and fragile
So Ill stand with you, hold you within my arms
for a little while
Not that it does much good though
As I follow you out
Your dying to punch something, someone
To scream, cry, shout.
You talk to me with harsh words
And I listen close
and I hold you tightly
And I wont let go of you
You apologize to me
for I guess trying to shut me out
But I was always going to follow you
there was never any doubt
Your shaking like a leaf
And your hearts beating too fast
But at least youre not being fake
and you dont carry a mask
You let your feelings out
and your honest and straight
Your my best friend, my lover
Your my soul mate
and I love you and need you
So I wont let you down
Even when your being a pain
and wont wipe away that frown
So Ill hold you closer, closer yet
And closer still and more
Till you can find that key
And open that door.
