wasted tears and wasted time
a fool to ever think you mine
short warm days with long cold nights
as you let go I held on tight
who knew youd ever be so cruel
was I the victim or the fool
I cannot hate you that is plain
so it is me who takes the blame
and sanity hanging by a thread
I leave you now romance is dead

| I don't know where you live, but in the United States, this is especially true. Women and men are constantly looking for the next best thing. They don't appreciate what they have. It's a downside to a materialistic society. There are a rare few who can truly fall in love. The rest just think they know what love is, and move from person to person. |
