On the Earth sometimes lies a blanket, A blanket of soft crystallised water, Kids love this cold covering, Adults hate this claustrophobic smothering, They fight this impression with fire.
Hot tea, biscuits and blankets, Kids just go along and risk it, Sleighing and snowballs, Higher and higher, They build their snow men.
It's the end of the day, But the kid i am, Says, let it snow, let it snow.
