Could you could you come closer my dear?
I can't hear your heartbeat
I can't feel your skin
My senses are numb
Could you could you come closer?

My eyes can't see you
But my heart can sense you
could you could you come closer?
The miles stretch out between us
But I feel your presence
Could you could you come closer my dear?

Are you with me?
If I reach out blindly, will I find you?
I can't hear you
But your voice sings to me from beyond the border
My chest tightens but you are not near
Could you could you come closer?

I close my eyes and I feel your arms around me
But you are nowhere to be found
Could you could you come closer?
My heart beats for you
But you're not here to feel it
Could you could you come closer my dear?

The world around me seems empty
Where are you?
Can you hear me calling my dear?
Can you see me looking for you?
Would you...could you,
Come closer my dear? <3
