ghosts of boyfriends past;
you never seem to let them go,
so nothing ever lasts
on my side, memories
drawn like sheets
hearts and lust
and slow deceits;
I can't seem to
say goodbye
there's a chasm between us,
and we wonder why.

I read it for the title..the subject has such an endless well of possibility, doesn't it?
I finished it feeling like this is exactly how things should be written/expressed.
I have a penchant for stuffing the most meaning into the fewest words. This is how I try to write whenever I do, but I seldomly accomplish it.
