Your mystery,
Seeps into me,
Leaving me inspired,
Could there be,
Someone for me,
With all that I've required,
Your perfection,
Pure reflection,
Of all that I've desired,
Your smile so bright,
Your form just right,
Your auburn curly hair,
Your sagacious mind,
Benevolent and kind,
Your talent beyond compare.
But your not mine,
Not yet at least,
And I'm not ready,
To admit defeat,
'cause it still excites me,
To think what might be,
If I can allay your fears,
If I can assuage our tears.
You could be mine,
Given time,
So with some thought,
I'll continue to court,
Your affections,
One last connection,
That's all we need,
To be set free,
To spend eternity,
Sublime,
Entwined,
As one.

I enjoyed the poem. I love the hope you have conveyed. The ending is lovely, sweet short verses yet gives a positive message.
