the traveller takes to the road alone, in search of a path or a place unknown: drawn along the winding track, sometimes they won't ever come back
out to sea in boats of hope, against tides and storms with sails and rope: over the waters they will roam; sometimes the sailor doesn't come home
drifters drift, explorers seek the next best thing or the highest peak: the outward urge is what they yearn; sometimes the seekers never return.

that is very beautiful. I was almost hypnotized by this poem.
There is no greater show of love, than the test of time, and waiting for someone.
You captured that essence perfectly. |

Hi Spike,
Now I see what I've missed, after being away from
the site for so long.
Another trademark piece of verse - short and to
the point, and brilliantly expressed.
And I ask myself ..... why has this poem had so few
reads??
