I want to go please let me,
Its normal cant you see,
Her mother lets her all the time,
So why wont you let me.
Everybodys doing it,
Its really no big deal,
Your stuck back in the old days,
You dont care how I feel.
I told you where Im going,
You just dont understand,
I wont be gone for long mom,
Trust me Ill be grand.
Im in a bit of trouble mom,
But how was I to know,
I was just there at the wrong time,
Why did you let me go

Great poem. I enjoyed it. Funny in a way specially the last verse. A universal issue is presented beautifully in a poem.
