THERE BE ONLY SHE

Contributed by pooja on Saturday, 12th February 2011 @ 09:26:24 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The night in her eyes is drowning me
She stirs so gently, I dare not breathe

A sliver of moon beam shines on her face
The very air becomes still, bound by her gaze

Eternity locked up in a flightless moment of time
A melody is revealed in an unforgettable rhyme

A beauty so breathless, it lights up the night sky
A soul so pure, even angels cry

I fear to move, I don't want to break the spell
I speak no word, lest the magic dispels

With a sleight of hands, she weaves a fragile dream
Leads me into an enchantment, beyond any known realm

Beyond shadow and shade where unrealities come alive
Where my heart is at peace, my fears take a dive

She takes me to a world where my heart is unbound
Where there are no sorrows, only happiness resounds

Between heaven and earth, let this moment forever be
Where there be only me and there be only she
